Sue and all,

I have been a lurker.........UNTIL NOW...you see my hubby has LD plus 2

coinfections, as does my son......hubby has been really bad for 2 years, and

the babesia, in addition to his mother dying when he was six...is about to

destroy our family unit.....he has a neg. attitude about everything....even

me, and I am the one fighting for him<tears>......but he doesn't see me that

way....The babesia has magnified all of the other " head stuff " we have had

to deal with.......tegretal and remeron are " supposed " the depression and

mood swings, but I am not sure how much. I am sure we need therapy(together

and separate) to rebuild(if possible) what is left, but he is not a therapy

kind of guy, and usually hurts too bad to move..........I wish he would use

the computer, so he could read you posts, but he hasn't yet............

I take an anti-dep, and for all I know I have LD as well.......am getting

tested this month.....I ONLY am depressed, overweight, and tired...gee

thought it was three kids, a sick hubby, and a dairy farm that did that,

lol.

I was in your situation at least twice with my ex-husband and the boyfriend/batterer after him... except that they did not have Lyme.... LIke you, I was fighting for them, fighting to save the relationships. Now I am in the same situation with my teenage son.

They feel that they don't need therapy, only I do, or everyone else.

Forcing therapy on them is just throwing money down the drain.

So, I have learned, I will go for therapy for ME. I need the therapy desperately.

I have given so much to others that I have nothing left to give. Sad, not good.

I must change. I will change. My life depends on it.

NOT NECESSARY!!!!!!! Where do you live? I obviously live in NJ but I will

tell you, you can do various things.....1st you can get a PCR blood test, for

lyme, babesia and ehrlichia to the total tune of $220. (dr. draws it and

sends it to Igenex labs in CAL only --www.igenex.com. Another suggestion I

gave my sister and others is to buy a bottle of olive leaf extract (health

food store), take 3 pills --3x/day and after 3-4-5 days or so, see how you

feel. If you feel like $%%$, then you will know it must be lyme. You will

feel 'flu-like', not so good. This is the cheapest test yet. It is not 100%

but it does work >I give this advice to those that cannot even afford a dr.

You do not have to treat lyme 100% with antibiotics if one cannot afford them

(although I truly believe this is how one puts it into remission).

LET'S WORK ON CONNIE!!!!! You will see the others come around cuz they won't

understand why you are not on their pity wagon anymore. They will want

whatever it is that you are taking!!!! LOL

My 11 year old had pick up some of his fathers ways.......I love them both, but can't let let them destroy me. I am not throwing in the towel, here, BUT everybody needs to work at getting on the right track. I do go to therapy, and it is good for me, but somewhere something is missing. I am looking for it!!!
