I'm sorry I do not know of any doctors who treat Lyme Disease in the

Buffalo area. I do know there are a lot of support groups in the state, one

must be near you. Support groups are an excellent source of doctor names

Yes, many on this list are like you, they have been from doctor to doctor

with all the same complaints and symptoms that you mention. Your history of

a tick bite and the rash is the main indicator that you do indeed have LD.

Lyme has been called " The Great Imitator " because it is often misdiagnosed

as many other diseases. Testing for LD through blood work is pretty

unreliable. Lyme is a clinical diagnosis, a good Lyme doctor will be able

to determine if you have LD based on symptoms and your reaction to

antibiotic meds. I am certain a local support group will be able to help

you find a good doctor.

Dear Patty,

How far is Buffalo to the NW corner of PA? I think there is a group of

LLMDs in that corner of the state, too far for me to go to but maybe not for

you. Just a thought.

Vicoria I can give you some help. I have hit many barriers living in Buffalo,

NY. and know what to do finally and am going to get TX. It has taken me 4

years to get these answers.Ihave debilitated severely from this disease and
