Hi, All,

LLMD said vertigo can be from the Lyme bacteria affecting the 8th cranial

nerve.

I had another episode this morning (still a bit dizzy). My PCP is

prescribing Anti Vert.

Thank you for that info - can't remember who posted ab. that - I knew what

he was referring to when he told me he was prescribing it, thanks to your

post.

There's still some question as to whether it's the Lyme or the Claforan

reaction. My liver enzymes are still going UP and I'm off the Claforan!

PCP said that means the Claforan issue isn't resolved. Everyone wants my

liver enzymes to go down before I get on the amoxy. I don't want to not

be on abx.... but on this they all agree. At least I'll have the Anti

Vert.

What a roller coaster, eh?

The one good thing - at every ER I've been in, and at Harvard's Stillman

Infirmary, I'd talking up a storm ab. Lyme Disease, and educating as many

people as I can. That includes the young residents in the ERs.

I did hear the Attending tell a young resident: " If it's Lyme, anything

can happen - it can do anything. " Sounds like there's one ER doc out

there who knows ab. it!

Healing and good energy to you all,

Marie

I believe my dr said something about my 6th cranial nerve being affected,

does each cranial nerve get damaged by the severity of the lyme?

O May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,

enough trials to make you strong,

enough sorrow to keep you human,

enough hope to make you happy. O

I'm not on diflucan, but thanks for the suggestion.

Perhaps the Lyme itself is causing liver inflammation, now that I've been

off the abx for a week....

I did go ahead and start the amoxicillin. Don't want to undo any good

work that the Claforan did by staying off abx too long.

Thanks, and healing to you,

Marie
