Guest guest
We make this concoction all the time but we add a package of diet jello to the light or sugar free cool whip. My personal favorite is orange jello and drained Mandarin oranges, it is very refreshing. in WIIla <sewcraftyila@...> wrote: I've lost 45 pounds in the past 4 months all without a lot of hard exercise since my doctor took away almost all my housework chores, can we all say awwwwwwwwww that's too bad now lol and all exercise but walking or water and I can't get to a pool or afford even a reduced membership to a Y. 1 medium container of store brand or Fat free Cool Whip thawed1 angel food cake broken up into bite size pieces (save the container it came out of)1 20 or so oz bag of frozed mixed berriesMix all three items together and put back into the angel food cake container. Do this in the AM and put back in the fridge with the clear part of the container pointing up to contain the juices from the berries inside or you will have a mess in the fridge from the berry juice draining into the fridge and lose the best part of the dessert/snack.Let set at least 6 hrs or long enough for the berries to thaw and the berry juices to mix into the angel food cake. Enjoy as a cool me down snack or when you are craving a sweet but aren't allowed to have one. Even my borderline diabetic hubby is allowed to have this and my picky teenager daughter loves it and will make it on her own. She puts chocolate syrup (which is fat free) on hers and I've even been known to sneak a little bit on mine. This is my own creation and I'd love to hear from others who have created things like this to sate their sweet tooth and to keep their families dessert craving happy.Ila in Maine mailto:sewcraftyilametrocast (DOT) netGuaranteed Safety for families & pets http://www.bemisandbemis.com "Life's a journey, not a destination" Tyler (Aerosmith) Sneak preview the all-new .com.
