Guest guest
Hi , It could be from the sun, with antibiotics, or a even an allergic reaction to a medication. Definitely let your doctor know. Are you on Bactrim by any chance? I know a few other people who had this with Bactrim and also Doryx in the sun. Could be just a herx too.. or just another " lymie " symptom. Definitely check with your doctor and remind him of all meds that you are taking. Let us know.. Blessings, Lor
Guest guest
It could also be roseola...which can be associated with lyme (I have it slightly and am a cosmetologist). sue in nj sue massie
Guest guest
I was dxed with Lyme from a persistant rash that I got on my face, it was like sandpaper and only came up when I got very hot and only where I touched. I am also extremely fair and I have a pink tint to my face all the time. I have started using Neutrogena cleanser for sensitive skin, it is helping alot. I also use a face powder in a green swirl by Physicians Formula , its ugly but boy does it cut the red. Since I found it, I can now go without foundation. Hope this helps,
Guest guest
Dear Cheers4you I have had intermittent reddish rash on my chicks and across the nose as well. I do not recall it was associated with sun exposure. I wondered if it was part of Lyme symptomatology. However, I started using my own little cure, mixing pure vitamin E concentrated skin oil (Costco) and Emu oil from www.epmi.net and applied it whenever I felt my skin was dry. Additionally I use every morning a mixture of 50 SPF and a little of a dark foundation to obtain a natural color, that way I can pile more 50 SPF on. Since I started this regime I have not had any reoccurrence of " pink face " . Guest guest
Cyn I should add that the rash I had actually was an Ehrlichia rash and it cleared up right quick once I got on abx.
