Guest guest
hi, Some of you met my dog Sasha.. a lot of you saw her at the rally/ symposium/buffet. She became sick right after we got back from Gettysburg. I took her to the vet two days ago and now she is at an oncology clinic being tested for cancer. She will have a needle biopsy and an ultrasound any time now. Her abdomen is swollen and the spleen is enlarged.. She is in tremendous pain. I know she is not human.. She is not just a pet, but also a service dog and my baby. I chose not to have children because of the illness, so she and my cat are my 'kids'. She is a terrific companion, especially since I quit working five years ago and made my solo long campings possible. Please hope that she does not have cancer. I hope they can fix whatever the problem is. elizabeth
Guest guest
, i am sorry to hear Sasha is not feeling well, hope she gets 'fixed' soon. She will be in my puppy prayers! I also have a sick dog, Ankilosing Spondilitis (her backbone is fusing from arth) one vet thought it was from Lyme, but titer was neg and vets believe that a dog recovers from lyme on its own, yeah sure. Keep us updated on Sasha, and I sure hope its a quick or easy fix. Pepi

I pray that her pain and yours cease. Love, Lovette
Guest guest
... My thoughts and prayers are with you and Sasha. I know how hard it is to see a pet in pain. :-( Please keep the group informed on how she is doing .... AND ... how you're doing. Guest guest
Hello , I am so sorry to hear that poor Sasha became suddenly ill, my prayers are with you and your poor little girl. I hate to think she is in such pain. The fact that these symptoms came upon her so suddenly makes me discount a cancer diagnosis, I trust that the doctors will find some other cause for this. I know she is your baby, many of us who never had children, or our children have left the nest, love these animals as if they were children. I can certainly identify with the pain and anguish you are going through right now. I really feel she is going to be just fine though. Please keep us posted daily as to what you learn and know my heart goes out to you and Sasha.
