Hi Christie,

Glad you are back hope you recoup soon. Sorry about the no mail, I

recently put several others on no mail, hope same doesn't happen to them.

Use your delete button and get rid of them, no way will you ever catch up.

ONElist is certainly not improved since they recently closed down for

maintenance.

I agree with your friend Carole, it is amazing how many people are

suffering and how common are symptoms are, definitely a plague.

Fascinating article about birds infected with Lyme and not testing positive

until they begin squiggling, (not sure what that is, but could be hormonal

stress), I posted the article a few moments ago, look for it. Makes you

wonder how this relates to humans.

I do hope you can manage to come to G-burg, love to meet you.

Hugs,

Marta

Hi, I was referring to Carole Fisch here on list! Both she and have

contacted me about Gettysburg, and I have been so busy being sick that I

don't know what to do! It is incredibly difficult for me to make plans and

don't want to disappoint anyone or not pull my weight. And I know what you

meen about onelist - it has gotten very difficult to deal with from

moderaters side. I do like it that they number their messages though in

digest.

While I'm here, I have yet another dx of congestive heart failure - and the

Mito was doing me in! Does anyone else have this and it is associated with

lyme?? I won't mention depression again - too depressing!

I don't remember what I posted and even to who so if this is redundent it is

due to dead brain syndrome. At Cleveland I had blood tests and skin

biospy. They couldn't schedule an MRS for 2 monthes and muscle biopsy will

take even longer. I like the doctor, but this facility could be much more

efficient!

Emotionally I felt more normal there and am in pit now that I am home. I am

unable to cope with husband - can't handle the extreme meaness anymore -

and it gets worse the sicker I get. I need to hang in for my son who isn't

responding to meds. I am afraid to leave because I have seen too many not be

able to afford meds, food, etc. It is almost too hard now to be both ill

and caregiver - not to sound selfish, just need caregiver myself. Thank you

for listening again - this is first time in my life I haven't been able to

deal with depression! I hope to make it to Gettysburg, and need to get

myself much more together!!

Take care,

Christie

Hi Christie,

I do hope you will make it to G-burg, you really need to get away and do

bring your son too. You can make reservations at the Heritage Motor Lodge

and if you have to cancel due to illness there is no fee. 717-334-9281.

It is no wonder that you felt more comfortable at the clinic than you did

at home, your husband is very cruel, but you are right, you just don't know

how you will be able to deal with the illness alone. Keep in mind though

that he sure isn't helping you now while you are with him. This is a tough

decision and yours alone to make, you know you can always come online and

vent and we will help best we can.

I would also like to suggest that you try to get a co-moderator or a

volunteer on your CFS list to take over duties till you are feeling better,

unless you feel you can handle it, it makes sense to me that you are on

overload with too many responsibilities while being so ill.

I hope someone on our list will be able to answer you about the Mito and

the Congestive Heart failure, I do believe it is Lyme related but just

haven't crossed that bridge yet myself, knock wood. What is a MRS, or did

you mean MRI? Why do they want to do the muscle biopsy??

I really hope you can get away and come to G-burg, I am sure you won't

regret it, I feel it will be a Lyme-love-in and a real picker upper for

those of us who have little else to look forward to.

I didn't know you meant Carole on our list, she's pretty smart...LOL!

Much love and hugs,'

Marta
