Vasculitis? Caused By Lyme Disease?

Hi folks,

I went to see my doctor today because I've been having some trouble

with my legs suddenly and she says it's my muscles they are atrophying and

has sugested a magnesium suppliment called Magnesium Glycinate by Metagenix

also she took a mouth swab to test my magnesium level.....

I also showed her when I stand for more than 5 mins or my legs get

cold they turn red and I get these lil white spots all over them.. She says

it's vasculitis? caused by lyme? So I said well isn't that dangerous? Can't

that cause a heart attack? She said in people who aren't being treated sure...

Has anyone else heard of this and or have it? I'd appreciate and

responses as I'm concerned and confused... Thanks

Hi,

I was also told I have vasculitis. The vasculitis I think would go away

with treatment. I also take magnesium, it is good for the muscles and the

heart (since it is a muscle). From what I have heard magnesium glycinate

is the best form of magnesium to take.

I take alot of warm baths to get my circulation going in my body. Some of

us can't exercise, due to the severity of illness. A little exercise would

help with circulation issues as well. Even if you take a few short walks

like 2min about three times a day, it should help some.

I get these white spots that you are talking about in my arms and legs. I

also have spots on my skin that is permanately white spotted. Anyone

experience that one. It is like the pigment has gone out of that part of

skin.
