When my wife was more active and our lives allowed us a bit more time I learned that BVT was being used for MS. I went to South New Jersey (with her) to learn the procedure and then ordered my own bees and did the treatment at home. I bought appropriate books to learn from. We were pleased with the result, as no other medications were of help to her (steroids for MS were always given then for exaserbations and they were only a temporary help) and she experienced a reduction in muscle stiffness, returning warmth in the limbs, much less pain and a return of energy levels as well as better cognitive function. We kept this up as long as I could until time constraints stopped me. > > Phil -GLEN in Hunterdon County, NJ.

Dr. Klinghardt is her Dr. She would be glad to answer any of your questions. > > Is anyone familar with this bee venom protocol mentioned on Dr Mercola's website? Guest guest
I wrote a rather lengthly reply to your question and then deleted it. I don't want to type it all over again just now, but I did bee sting therapy for about 4 months. I had increased pain and no significant beneficial results (only occasional brief burst of energy like adrenaline or something). I have the same increase in pain on 9 weeks of ABX with no benefit yet only the pain is worse and I also have real herxes which I didn't really have on the bee venom. One difference though is that you can't take NSAIDS while on bee venom because it increases the risk of anaphylaxis. It is touted as a powerful anti-inflamatory, but I was really not impressed, but maybe that's just my body. A friend who has had a numb wrist from tendonitis for many years was recently stung on that wrist by a yellow jacket and within 5 minutes it was tremendously improved for about 3 days. Stories like that are not uncommon. I have communicated with two people who had lyme, treated it with antibiotics, and now control their " fibromyalgia " symptoms with bee stings. Here's a URL to klinghardts protocol. http://www.neuraltherapy.com/a_lime_disease.asp He recommends points to sting, herbs etc.. mostly garlic which I am allergic to. I stung mostly on my spine and didn't do any herbs. I'd bee happy to answer any questions I can about stinging. I may start again at some point?? You can also try the american apitherapy society online, but everytime I try to get to their page lately I get pages of porno adds. I think its http://www.apitherappy.org or used to be anyway. Good luck. Well there, I ended up retyping most of it anyway! E > Is anyone familar with this bee venom protocol mentioned on Dr Mercola's website?
