When a persons spirit is as strong as their love for you, you would be suprised at the people, places, sounds, sights, and feelings that manifest themselves after time has passed and you begin to heal. Their spirit and life essence will stay around and find you in places you would never expect. It happened when Iost my father. Not at first but in uncanny ways that at first I found unsettling, but especially when I met a man from Maine that I found on the internet. We were just penpals and after about a year we met for dinner. Something about him I found so familiar, and after a little while I started noticing things he would do or say or gestures and phrases hed say that reminded me so much of both my mother and father. I could talk to him about them at length and he started goingto the cemetary with me and talking to them as if they were his parents. My parents sent him to me. I will marry this man because he encompasses everything I loved about them and things I love about him individually. I thought I had lost my past forever but thats not true. I am very very lucky and its probably a rare thing, but even my brother was shocked at the uncanny gestures. He said this to me in private because he didnt want to embarrass himself, but I said, I know I know, its weird but amazing isnt it. So over time, you might experience these things. In the meantime, stay strong, try and rest and be very very good to yourself. Bubblebaths, favorite songs and a good book or movie always helped me. The funeral of my dad will be next Monday at 12pm at the church and then off to the crem and then back to the church for refreshments. As you can probably imagine, feeling very grieved atm. Hope you're all ok.
