Jody,

You are so new to all this, it is hard to begin to explain. I will try.

There are some medical doctors and researchers who for reasons of greed and

an interest in Managed care and grant money have decided to downplay the

severity of Lyme and other tick diseases. They write articles, testify in

court for money saying Lyme is not chronic. The main character is Dr

Steere. He and his cronies say that Lyme Disease is easily cured with a few

weeks of abx. We the patients and some of the brave doctors who treat us

know that is not true. Dr Orens is a prominent Lyme treating doctor in NY.

He was targetted by the Office of Profession Misconduct (OPMC) for

over-treating Lyme disease, lost his license, and recently had it reinstated

on a technicality. Right name the best Lyme doctor we have, Dr ph

Burrascano, also in NY, has been going through hearings also, and faces the

loss of his license for treating LD. It is crazy, I wouldn't believe it if

I did not live this.
