Guest guest
Thank you csw. When I print this it shows stuff from the lyme-aid and it makes it look poor. Is there another way to print the petition? I am not good at this. I would like to print to get signatures for it. Thank you. Guest guest
Dear Angie, Copy and paste just what you want printed onto any type of word processing program, MSWorks, MSWord, Word Perfect, even Notepad or another program you have. Then print that, it is the only way to delete the email info from the printout. Guest guest
Dear Angie, Sorry, I don't even clean up my house, my husband does it all, work, clean, cook, shop, laundry, etc. Can you afford to have someone come in once a month to do the heavy stuff? Or perhaps a family member will pitch in? Hugs from a Light-House-Keeper finally in Pennsylvania (Anyone can clean the house, only you can catch up on your rest) Michele E. Guest guest
Connie, I know this petition has been used in the past. Well, it has at least been copied and sent to organizations for them to use. I'm not exactly sure how the different groups have used it though. (The New York crowd has copies that they were going to use to somehow help their docs with the OPMC battle.) Nightline has also seen copies of all the signatures. The great things about this petition is that anyone can sign it, it is general enough to be of some benefit in any Lyme situation and it has a LOT of signatures. Numbers do mean something. If you have any other questions send them to Rita Stanley at RitaStan@... Robynn Re: [ ] Re: Petition Form to Sign > Hello, > Just a question, has any part of this petition been sent to anyone. Guest guest
Oops, I said Nightline when I should have said Dateline. So sorry! I emailed Rita today and she said to tell everyone that this is YOUR petition. You can use it in any way you want. If you need hard copy verification of signatures it will cost about $100 for the copies. That's a lot of money for an individual, but not much for a support group or organization. The media loves this kind of stuff, especially when we have numbers like these. This petition has 22,272 signatures! You can find the petition at: http://www.angelfire.com/or2/petition2/ . Rita doesn't need actual signatures. You can just email her with your name, city, state and country to RitaStan@... . =) Robynn -Owner Re: [ ] Re: Petition Form to Sign > Connie, > > I know this petition has been used in the past. Guest guest
--The petition, with 21,000 signatures, was used at a high level behind the scenes meeting in Albany. However, they were not impressed because the signatures came from all over the country, and only signatures by people who can vote for them impress them. I do think the petition is extremely important, though. The greatest impact itwill have is on the media. ALso, we are fighting in NYS to get public legislative hearings into OPMC bias against LLMD's. If we do win in getting hearings, the press will be there. With the press watching, the legislature and the OPMC and the governor cannot thumb their noses at out of state signatures because they are not politically useful to them. Please keep up the good work in getting those signatures. You are right . Numbers do mean something to the press and the public.
