Pregnancy or RA?

I would like to hear from women who have been pregnant with RA or from

anyone who knows the answer!

For the past 2 days I have had swelling in my right ankle and right wrist that

has been very painful, but thank goodness not constant. I am 31 weeks

pregnant and I know that pregnant women do swell but is it accompanied by

pain? I am just trying to figure out if my RA is starting to flare up. Of

course,

the heat and the humidity certainly don't help.

Thanks so much!

I had swelling about that time during my pregnancy. But I did not have the RA at the same time. Swelling can come with mild to moderate pain. You need to have your blood pressure checked to rule out toxemia. It's probably the RA, because the swelling with toxemia is generally all over your body. I would say it's the ra. When I swelled during pregnancy - it did not hurt. I did not have ra at the time either. Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
