Dear - Actually the gloves are a life saver when I need to use my fingers for typing or opening doors, carrying groceries etc. You would have to try them to understand the " massaging " and " support " they give you. I hope the MRI shows something for you!!!!!!!!! Hugs, Deborah

kind of painful :) Doesn't it put too much pressure on the swollen joints?I'm waiting for the c spine mri results, which I really hopeshow *something* so I can be treated...Thx for your advice :)

I agree with Deborah--you have to try them to understand. I don't use

compression gloves, but do have compression wraps for my ankles. I

put them on before I excercise, or if I know I will be walking longer

distances. They certainly keep the swelling down in my ankles, and

I'm able to stay active much longer. (The hardest part about the dang

things is getting them on and off my ankles!! :) )

dordale :)

Deborah, I bought the compresstion gloves from the website you recommended awhile ago. I love them for my wrists but if my fingers are hurting to it makes my fingers feel worse. Is there any type of gloves that help you fingers too. I looked but didnt find anything I though would help. Thanks for you help Deborah Bargad <dbargad@...> wrote: Dear -

Dear - You have to get the 3/4 length gloves. They come all the way up to the last knucke on your finger, almost to the nail. The size you get may be a factor also. You may have to get them larger if the compression is too tight. They do stretch with wear as I have found. I use them for knitting which is murder on my fingers or typing or lifting grocery sacks. I take a small being five 2. I would suggest a medium if you are taller than that. At first the gloves may feel funny, as compression does, but gradually you find your fingers ache less. Immobilizing the hand and fingers with a snug but not tight compression is great during a flare. Need more info, I can send a link for the 3/4 " lengths. Hugs, Deborah
