It will ge into your address book and send itself to ALL your 'friends' you have in there. Then, when they get it, somebody will open it and the whole thing starts over again....Phil? Are you wondering why this got sent to this site? Now you know! A friend told me of this because when I opened my mail, I had mail from JR, and others who NEVER have emailed me!!!! And it was the the same thing! OH DEAR, don't people have better things to do? Guess not. That means you *cannot* get this virus from the Dwarfism List. Which is why we always had a rule against posting virus warnings on the list. There's simply no need. This virus is causing email addresses to sending this virus to everyone on their emailing list. You have to do an UPDATE on your anti-virus scan then run the scan again. This virus is newer than your current scan and it will not find it until you do the update. Go to their website to do an update. Since you may already have the service, you may be able to upload the update without costing you anything. However, if you find you have to pay, it would be worth the investment. Every name that has sent this virus, their computers has been affected and the virus is sending out through your address book. DO NOT open any attachments even from someone you know, unless you are Expecting an attachment from them. I deleted all of these emails and did not open them even from people I knew because I knew there was a virus attached, especially since several people have sent it. But these people THEMSELVES did not send you the viruses, the virus is sent by itself from the address books. I encourage everyone to update their virus scanners and run the scan even if you dont think you have a virus.
