Guest guest
Hi Reid, Thanks for understanding, sorry to include you in the category of Men!!!! You do know what this disease is like, and also the problems we encounter in watching what we say online. Still, I think was just trying to pick a fight with me, and since he hasn't mentioned it again since the other night, I most certainly won't remind him about it. I will not quit , but I sure as hell will be careful what I post. I doubt that anything I put in the Welcome message will bring cause for a law suit. This is the paragraph he found fault with: Many of us have privacy issues with Insurance carriers as well as physicians and employers, so we have decided that the archives for this maillist will not be available to the public. Members are able to retrieve archivesfrom the one-list web pages. I urge you once you are subscribed, to introduce yourself to the list. Tell us your Lyme history, we are open for questions about Lyme and it’s treatment, insurance issues, and support group information and all matters relevant to Lyme disease. We ask though that you do not post doctors names on the list, due to the political harassment of our doctors and the persecution by the insurers and the Office of Professional Misconduct's inquiries that are going on right now. While this list can only be read by members, anyone can join. So be careful, please review what you write, and be sure that you only post information you do not mind others reading. He says the OPMC can sue me for implying they are harassing our doctors. He also is concerned that I am giving medical advice online, which I really don't think I do, I relate experiences, and try to direct people to other sources of information. Do me a favor, if you find me writing something that appears to be medical advice, write me and remind me I am not a doctor. It could be he is jealous of the time I spend online, don't know for sure, but I don't usually go online unless he is busy with something or asleep, so don't see how that is the problem. Most likely he is just in a lousy mood from retiring, and being bored. Hope he finds a job soon. Thanks for letting me vent. Love you too, Hugs, Marta >From: rmcmur3194@...>>marta......remind him that as long as we stick to the truth.......things that >can be backed up ....such a steere and sigals cosey relationship to the >insurance and drug ind. we can not be sued .......defamation is only >spreading untruths about people.....which we are not doing we do have >documents proving everything we say....( at least i do)......while sometimes >our feelings get away from us....i try to stick to the documented >stuff.....when i make comments or quotes......something my lawyer taught >me......ge what other disease do u have to be ur own doc.....lawyer.....and >educate the world.....only lyme.........love and hugs to ya....>Reid

Guest guest
Dear Everybody, Thank you so much for all your support. Jessie is OK. After serious observation the doctor said she thinks it is ringworm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that our daughter has, not a bullseye rash BUT she said if not gone in 10 days or less to call asap. I almost fainted with joy. I have seen so many rashes (Lyme) in my nursing career, and just being the local " Lyme expert " because all 4 of us have been on IV. This is a LLMD. She really looked at the rash closely and for a good long time. Reid, Joan, and God, anybody I missed, thank you. Keep up the prayers for me as I start HBOT March 20th in E Hampton now, not land. I just love you guys. My husband really is the one who needs prayer support---he has been great but is damn tired of all this c.....p!!!!!!!!!! Love you all, Helen

Guest guest
Hi Helen, I just hope the doctor is right, couldn't the rash be scraped to be checked under a microscope so we would know for sure if this is ringworm.....??? I pray that the doctor is right though. Was ringworm meds or cream rx'd. Your whole family is in my prayers, I am hopeful that the HBOT helps you, but don't forget to take a break and come on down to Gettysburg. I made my reservation at the Heritage Motor Lodge, they charged us only $56, due to your call before to Amy, there are still 10 or so rooms available, so hopefully someone will grab them up at that reduced price. Can't really blame your hubby for being disgusted about all this, he really has his handful with his girls always being so sick, at least my only has me to contend with, and come to think of it, I am a handful too.] Hugs, Marta >From: Liveitup2@... > >Dear Everybody, > Thank you so much for all your support. Guest guest
Hi Reid, Don;t kid about going to jail, I really don't think you would like it after a few days, those cots are hard, and getting to the infirmary is not too easy I hear. And I heard the showers aren't fun if you happen to drop the soap. Just try to keep peace at home the best you can, I do, it usually blows over, was blowing off steam I guess, and I am the only target now, since he isn't working, so I do understand. I also understand what you mean about starting a few household duties and having to stop right in the middle of the, to go lie down. Today while preparing dinner, I got awful back spasms, had to lie down with heating pad and put dinner on hold, worst part was that the pain wouldn't stop so I got up and took a couple Vicoprofen which is a no-no since I am on Oxycontin and Motrin. Pain is gone but I feel woozy and a little high. It's been a long time since a pain med did that to me. I am so excited about going to Gettysburg and seeing you again, dying to meet Tina too. Did you make reservations yet? If not please try to come to the Heritage place I mentioned early, we should have a ball. is chilled I guess, he made no more complaints today about us being sued, so I hope he was just having a bad day. Try not to fight with your wife, not worth the energy, practice saying, " Yes, dear " LOL. Shame she won't come to G-burg, it is gorgeous there, and he could enjoy the sights and it would be a getaway weekend. Hugs. Guest guest
Libby, In the beginning I taught many more men than women and they loved Life Lift because just doing the breaths keeps their stress level down, and their waistlines too. The thing I find with most men is that they try to be too intense. Tell him to slow down and to be sure he completes each step before he goes to the next. Even doing it wrong will benefit him, just because of the oxygen exchange, but it will be great when we can get him to do it right so he gets maximum benefits. Tell him to practice, practice. He will get it before long and he will love it as much as you do. It is really fun when couples do it together. I used to love to teach couples. It can be a very bonding experience since you get that endorphin high and you feel so great. I had one couple tell me it was better than a marriage counselor. Take care, Rashelle Be sure to check out all of the great specials available on my web sites Save $30 on the Large Body Wrap package until Aril 30th.You are welcome to visit us at http://www.angelmagic.com or http://www.lifelift.com These are Rashelle's personal web sites, any others belong to distributors.join our discussion group at LifeLift-subscribeonelist My husband is having a lot of aches and pains, heel spurs, tendonitisand the like. I think the LL breathing exercises would help him. Ihave been trying to explain LL to him and showed him thevideo. I am having a hard time teaching him...it seems like for methe imagery of the straw, the sniff, and the "pah" with the blast outof air made it simple...he is just not grasping the concept. Ifanyone has some suggestions I would appreciate it. He is willing...hedoesn't have much weight to lose but could shape up...he is VERY tall6'5" and really cannot do any "body slamming" exercise as he has badknees and feet so this would be perfect.!Libby
