I would like to also obtain my lab results - did you get yours through your

PCP? I asked the hospital to send me a copy but they told me I need to get

them through my PCP! It didn't make sense to me.

In my case, the most likely reason for the elevated enzyme is the

methotrexate. Since I posted I learned that my lab value is not high

enough to cause concern.

Every time I have my lab work done, I call the lab in the next day or

so and ask them to mail me a copy of the results. The results usually

arrive within a day or two of my call. For some reason, the way my

lab is set up, I have to call in--I can't just request they mail a

copy of the results to me when I'm in the office getting the lab work

done...go figure.

I requested them from my PCP this time, but have requested them from

the rheumy in the past.
