Guest guest
Hi gang, I just signed up for the AOL instant messenger, thanks to my name on there is Lymepal, would you believe Marta McCoy was already taken??? Hmmmm. If anyone else wants to sign up here is the url again. You do not have to belong to AOL and it is free. http://www.newaol.com/aim/friend.html

Guest guest
In a message dated 00-03-06 11:06:06 EST, you write: << What is the advantage of signing up for this? I missed something. But I did try to sign up, tried five different names and all were taken, so I have to think about it a little longer. Thanks, Vicki, Md >> Hi Vicki, The advantage (if you perceive it as such - LOL!) is that you can instant message friends who have AOL. It's a feature in AOL that allows you to create a " buddy list " which shows when friends are on-line, then you can highlight their names, click IM (for instant message) & friend gets pop up screen message & you can chat back & forth instantly. Sort of like a private chat room... Hope this helps to clarify.

Guest guest
Slight correction, you do not have to have AOL as your internet provider, anyone can join, although I am not sure it is available for those with Web TV.
