Guest guest
My IV was in my arm, I am allergic to plastic so I really had watch it. I know that, I had to use heat packs in the arm area, because my body tried to reject the port. heat packs was very warm wash cloths placed over the area that was trying to streak with red streaks, it worked. I had to take it real easy and could not move my arm, if I work with that arm, thats when the problems would start. Rocefin did save my life, and it gave me time to get to a LLMD, I was so tired during the infusion. Since no Physician here was familiar with Lyme, I really had to tell them what they could and could not do. The doctor tried to pull the port, but I would not let him. Alot prayer and resting, even though everything was piling up on, was the only choice at this point. And decision to choose not to get stressed was also choice I had to make. Which was very difficult considering I have 5 children ranging from 6 to 17years, and my beautiful Husband, who believes that the house should be spotless, not matter how sick I was, was a challenge. If we can help you please ask. Love Trenton,GA
