Group,

Has anyone been diagnosised with arthritis that actually showed

something on an X-ray. IS there something extra, missing or what or is

this just another of the Doctors telling me that is what it is when they

haven't the slightest idea what's going on. Its a knee, it has bothered

me off and on for over 8 yrs, yes, I have Lyme disease, one Dr and one

blood test says so, local Dr's haven't a clue, one Dr can't treat me

because Medicaide won't pay his(I am so lucky to be disabled and have

that kind of Ins-right)fees, local Dr's say I do not have Lyme disease,

hence no treatment from Dr's buts that's OK as I am using an

allternative but I was just wondering about this knee thing. Last Dr I

saw locally X-rayed it, told me it was inflammatory arthritis, I

mentioned Lyme disease, he ask if I was from " up North " told him " no " as

Lyme is here. He told me I could not have Lyme disease so I told him if

nothing showed on the Xray that I also didn't have inflammatory

arthritis. Needless to say no treatment there either-sorry but I am sick

of their nonsense. What get the knee to hurting extremely bad is walking

thru a super Walmart-that is all it takes. It could be swollen a bit,

never red in color but it is then days of trying to do nothing to get it

to quit hurting. Any ideas?

Coleen
