HOWEVER, two doxycycline is not hitting the infection hard. In fact, I am concerned that these 2 pills will just knock down the bacterial level, while not eradicating the infection, thereby developing into chronic Lyme. The participants in the study were only followed for 6 weeks. How many will get (mis)diagnosed many months (years?) later with other conditions because they did not demonstrate the early signs as a result of this inadequate treatment?
