The CDC won't call it " positive " unless five bands are positive - but most people with LD don't have that many. A lot of doctors might not consider this a positive test so I don't want them to bust your bubble (doctors are good at that). Some bands are quite specific to LD which is why just ONE band can clearly show lyme disease. Non LLMD doctors do now know what the bands mean and are therefore unable to interpret the bands. They just usually count the number of times the word " positive " appears and read the verbage printed by the lab. I'm glad you are making some progress! > I just called Dr. office.
