Guest guest
Sally- Here are some websites..... http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Oasis/6455/encephalopathy-links.html " " " " " /encephalitis-links.html This also works with many others, i.e. /myelitis-links.html, neuropothy, radiculitis, arteritis, etc. YES< basically, anyone with chronic lyme could show 'white matter' in an MRI, spect scan, etc. I have personally found that with treatment, this does improve. The secret is getting the CORRECT info about lyme and to educate yourself, then apply it~~~~ Leg pain? try magnesium for cramps/leg pain. It does help. I had these but with treatment, 99% of my symptoms have disappeared. Have you been tested for the co-infections of babesia and ehrlichia?? sue in nj
Guest guest
Hi Sally, I had neurolyme from the beginning, 7 years ago this past Sept. The leg pains were horrific, I nearly jumped out of the car on the freeway. A change of abx helped me a lot. I have been on 600 mgs of Zithromax for 4 years or so. Everytime I go off the pains are unbearable. The Zithromax works on me, It doesn't work for everyone, you may want to give it a try. My leg pains started easing the very first day, until the herx's started. Now they are much less and I can tolerate them. Do you keep a log? That is most important, If you would like I will snail mail you one. You can really keep track of herx's, rate your pain, ect. Hugs and hang in there, Connie, Michigan

Guest guest
My wife finally was dx with lyme after 3 years of running around. She has a significant amt of white matter an the brain and has excrutiating pains in her legs that wke her up at nit even w/ 5mg of valium. trazadone and oxcycontin for the pain on bad nights. Dr. put her on Nerotin (spelling) 400/day and this seems to help a little. Good luck!
