Hope they help June. I can't wait to go try them. I may go today if I

can muster up some ambition to go out. I love the fact that they can be

thrown in the washer and put right back on our feet. Great for when I'm

weeding the flowers. I like how colorful they are. Maybe we'll be

styling in spite of our shoe limitations.

I'm glad to hear that is improving. What a scare that was.

What style did you try, the clog type or sandal? I got the sandals

yesterday and they are the most wonderful thing I've ever put on my

feet.

I'm not sure why you found them heavy. I've never had anything so light

on my feet in my life. I haven't tried the clog type and I think that

is what you tried. Although they seem light in weight, they seem

clunky. They didn't have my size in the clog, so I didn't get to try

them so I'm only guessing.

They really run big. I'm an 8 1/2 but in the sandal type I only wear a

7.

I'm sorry they didn't work out for you. We'll keep our eyes open for

something else. I'm so grateful to whoever told the group about them.

It is such a battle to find something comfortable.

a, I used the wrong word when I said heavy, sorry. I meant clunky, like too

much shoe for my feet and felt like I would trip too easily in them. I was

trying on the clogs. I didn't even see any sandals so maybe I will try another

store. The store I went to is in a trendy part of the city and stocked mostly

high end gardening items. Thanks for letting me know. What color did you get?

The clogs I tried were bright green.

I got the " Nile " , which is a sandal. They also make a flip flop, but I

can't wear anything between my toes.

This is what I got in bright neon orange:

http://www.crocs.com/consumer/product_details/nile/

You can see me coming a mile away LOL!

Right now they are so backordered that you may not find them very

easily. The store I went to only had small and very large sizes and he

said he won't get any in until November. He said only stores that get

them in quantity are getting deliveries because they can't make them

fast enough.

I want the lime green and the blue. I also think the beach clogs are

very clunky. I prefer the open toe. I hope you can find them!

Thanks a, I found a couple more stores that carry these and will try to

get the sandals. I like the green and if they are comfortable, I want them for

sure. Since I had the surgery on my feet, I now take a 5 or 6 as before I wore a

7 so even the small size clog was too big. I have a bone falling down underneath

my big toe and if these sandals would give me some cushioning it would be a

blessing.

Thank you Marcia....I will definitely look at the Crocs. I know your daughter knows what she's talking about after being on her feet all day.

Thanks again so much,

Has anyone tried the " Z " shoes " with the giant spring on the back?

I tried them on, but don't have enough nerve to wear them in public, unless

they REALLY work.

Instead, started doing foot exercises and stretching the bottom of my foot

(sole).

I can't believe how much it has helped!

I bought a pair but can't wear them. For some reason, my big toe goes

totally numb

when I've had them on for more than an hour. Mine are the open toe

sandals, which

I think are better looking than the clunky beach style. I keep them

in my beach bag

and stick to wearing SAS sneaks for everyday.

Caroline,

I love Crocs. I have several different pairs. There is a special pair

I wear while in aquatics and in swimming that can act as fins for an extra

workout. Crocs are made so well, I don't wear AFOs, and I don't wear my

orthotics with them either.

Does anyone have problems wearing Crocs with an Ortho Brace. Can you keep them

on? I can't wear anything with out a strap across ankle. Crocs look so

comfy-but figured I couldn't walk in them because of my drop foot--can't squeeze

toes enough to keep a clog type shoe on.

Greetings:

Yes, I have had some of the " relief " crocs and they are more

supportive, comfortable and cushioned than the other models. The only

problems I have with them are that they squeak a lot (may be only on

me) and they are not as attractive as many of the other croc models.

But of course I'm relatively used to having shoes that aren't

particularly attractive.

As far as crocs staying on, true 'crocs " beach shoe and caymen

models anyway, have back straps. You may not always be able to tell

this as many people where the backstrap flipped upward onto the front

of the shoe. I have noticed there are " knock off " model crocs from

Lands End and whatnot that do not have these backstraps. The crocs

website shows all the varieties of crocs: www.crocs.com. You can

order directly from the website but I have had some problems with poor

customer service.

Hope this helps. :) Marti

Hi !

Crocs does have a few styles with the straps. They are the best

footwear I have ever worn for my awful legs and feet. Some people say

they squeak...I have not experienced that.

I got mine through Zappos.com Free shipping and they were delivered

sooner than promised!

Good luck with yours! I'm going to buy another pair this week!

Hi ,

Not sure how these braces are, but I wear the hard plastic AFOs and I can wear

the Beach style Crocs with no problem. I did have a problem breaking a pair, by

breaking one side of the strap, because I caught it on car lifting my one leg

out of car. Live and learn how not to do that!!! The back strap stays on heel

of braces, without any problem.

Hope this helps, at this point have not tried any of the knock-offs. With the

cost of Crocs being only $30, it is a bargain compared to all my other shoes.

Hello,

I think I need the back strap to help hold my AFO. Otherwise the Crocs shoes

tend to seperate from my AFO feet when I walk. Then, I will lose my Crocs shoes

on the street, which is too bad.

Please take care

I love the Crocs, because they give so much support to my feet.

I walk on the outside of my foot due to the high arches/curved ankles.  For me,

most shoes wear out on the outside quickly, causing tendonitis of my ankles and

knee pain.  Crocs are durable and take a long time to wear the soles out.  They

are also completely flat.  They are the only shoes I wear anymore, unless I'm in

my scooter or not planning to stand/walk at all.

I only wear the RX Silver Cloud version.  They are special crocs designed to

help problem feet, like those of diabetics.  They are wider and the bumps inside

are smaller.  (With regular Crocs, I can't tolerate the bigger bumps in the

sole.)

I had the Crocs and, even though they were really comfy, I had a problem walking

in them as the sole would " grab " on vinyl tile or carpeting. I had several

falls then quit wearing them. With foot drop I need a composite sole which

would not " grab " . I find the Drew shoes to work for me.

Hello all. I have tried the knock offs of these are they are horrible. Sounds

like the real thing might be a good way to go. I think I will have to try a

pair and see. My feet are so messed up, I can't even slip these on when I have

tried in the past. Too much of a curve in my foot. I will let everyone know

how these work out.

Thanks

I'm with Pat. With foot drop, any foam-type sole that grabs and makes you trip

is not good, and that has happened to me plenty. For summer, I wear the

Naturalizer Scout sandals, they have tons of colors and widths, sole is rigid &

solid and doesn't grab, the strap configuration gives stability around ankle.

Not the prettiest shoe, but boy do they work. You can get Scholls stick-on

sandal insoles if you need more padding for those bony CMT feet. These are my

salvation in this summer heat.
