Guest guest
Hi gang- I know we all suffer from Lyme brain but wanted to ask everyone if they have ever had something like this before and if it is possibly from a HERX (Im not on any abx right now tho) or if this could be more brain damage occuring. I have been feeling like my head is just so heavy and I am so confused. I would say it is just the way someone feels just before they have a stroke or the way a person with early Ahlzeimers(sp) feels. Its like I am dissconnected from my body. I cant think right and cant do easy things. I thought maybe it was from all the drugs I take for pain but I havent taken any today and it has gotten worse. I was like this yesterday for awhile but as the night went on it got better. Today has been a nightmare. Any ideas or suggestions??? I had a pretty stressful week last week so I thought that might play into it too. Had my ALJ hearing for SSD and I think I won!!! Just waiting for the official word from the judge. Maybe Im just getting to excited about Gettysburg and not only getting Reids autograph but also the kissing booth...... LOL See what you do to me Reid??? LOL Anyway thanks for all your help and advise in advance. L (severely Lyme Brained in MI) __________________________________________________

Guest guest
, Just before I was put on IV I felt exactly as you described - almost demented - very, very confused and very heavy headed. It was very frightening. My doc reassured me that this would reverse and it did w/ abx. treatment. Hope it passes soon. Are you planning on going back on abx's or any other treatment? Hugs, beth Hi gang-I know we all suffer from Lyme brain but wanted to askeveryone if they have ever had something like thisbefore and if it is possibly from a HERX (Im not onany abx right now tho) or if this could be more braindamage occuring. Guest guest
Dear , I have had the " heavy head " feeling prior to diagnosis and of course a worsening with herxes. I feel like my head is the only part of my body because it's so heavy and hurts so much. Can't function much at all during those times. I think it just goes along with neurological LD. Hope you feel better soon, Eileen N. Caldwell, NJ
