Guest guest
I have not personally experienced any food sensitivities but I have heard from others who feel that they have identified food sensitivities and avoiding problem foods has helped their RA. However, their food sensitivities are not the same so what they have to avoid must be determined for each individual. Of course a generally healthy diet is good for anyone even if you don’t have a food sensitivity. I have read that an allergist or nutritionist can give a skin test to check for food sensitivities and this might be a way to identify what foods (if any) you should avoid. If you are interested this might be a good first step. You could also try some type of elimination diet to try to find if you have any problems. Here’s a link to one site that seems to have good information. http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=diet & dbid=7 I personally use medications to control my RA but there is nothing wrong with trying diet modification but be on the lookout for possible continuing joint erosions that could occur if you truly do have RA. God bless. Has anyone had any experience with fasting and switching to a vegetarian diet? If so, did it help your RA? Thanks for any info/feedback.
