Guest guest
It is just a light gadget which is hung on a door while working out. This gadget is for working out hand, leg and fingers. Good luck --- bonniebaron <bonniebaron@...> wrote: > what is a door gym ? ? ? ? > > i work out, either at the gym or with video tapes at > home, and also > walk with my hounds in the morning . . . . . but > i've never heard of > a door gym ? ? ? ? ? > > hugs, bon/boys > > > > > Does anyone ever feel that weight loss or > > > starting an exercise > > > program is impossible with RA? Guest guest
some days I can exercise - some days I can barely move. This week is good so far - last week was horrible. Weight is up 25 lbs since starting prednisone - seem to be holding to that but I'm quite overweight to begin with. I have a gazelle that's in front of the tv - so I get on that when I can. I'm trying to stabilize with physical therapy so I can at least walk a little or walk in a pool, but so far no luck. But I know a lot of members on the group *are* able to exercise... Guest guest
that's where I'm lucky - the ra has barely touched my hips - only once in awhile I hurt in them - some feeling of 'dislocating'. I had a similar unit by nordic track that was so stiff that it was too hard for me - but at the lowest setting - the gazelle is good for me. Helen P.
