Guest guest
Hi Guys, Thanks for all the responses showing concern for and me. I really appreciate it. They think he is allergic to antibiotics, though they don't know which one. He had been on orals before going into the hospital, then on 3 different IV antibiotics in the hospital (seemed to get worse on the antibiotics - none of them beneficial for Lyme, unfortunately). Yesterday, when we thought he would be going home, yet another doctor (an infectious disease specialist he's seen before) wanted to try a new one, then do an MRI on the foot today and a tissue biopsy. He had that done this morning, but I haven't talked to him yet. He will probably be in the hospital a couple of more days. Will keep you posted. Guess I won't be able to see Pepi. I can't drive on freeways (license restrictions) and she's about 20 miles away through downtown Fort Worth. I didn't realize her surgery would be so soon until I read all the messages. I'll give her a call later today. Finally got the repairs done to the sheetrock after calling the City Environmental Health Inspector. Carpet and Padding still not completed.
