As you may remember, I've been suffering with numbness and tingling in my feet. My rheumatologist thought it might be the Arava. I can now report that after 2 months off the Arava, my numbness and tingling has decreased significantly. Just FYI.

My dr. said that the MTX does can cause memory problems and you should probably talk to yours too. They pulled me off of it and put me on Arava.

I've been worried lately about my bad memory. I've been taking MTX for 2 1/2 years. I'm currently taking 24 mgs (8 pills) once a week. Thanks for the info. I will watch out for those side effects. I'm feeling much better this week and seem to have more energy since starting on Arava. I was even on my feet for 3 hours last night. I haven't done that in over a year. How long were you on this before the numbness and tingling started. Stacey:

I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better. The numbness and tingling occurred after about a year.

Best wishes and hope you continue to do well!
