Guest guest
We have been doing regular IV's while we were following the DAN and Kane protocol up until a week before my four-year-old's round #1 of AC protocol. We had been giving 1250 mg of Lipostabil (phosphatidyl choline), 2 mg DBL Calcium Leucovorin (calcium folinate), 800 mg glutathione, 3 grams of vitamin c. We decided to continue with the IV infusion during the " on " days with just the magnesium sulfate and vitamin c. The IV nurse tried to give him 500 mg of magnesium sulfate (DBL brand) diluted with up to 30 times dextrose followed by 3 grams of IV ascorbic acid (merit brand)diluted with up to 4 times saline on day 2 of round#2.He got uncomfortable and sweaty during the magnesium infusion that he vomited while he was getting infused. Is there a way to make the magnesium infusion more tolerable for him? The nurse was doing a slow push. Would it harm him if we continue giving him the lipostabil and calcium leucovorin during his on days? We are currently on round#2 using 8 mg dmps and 8 mg ala 3 days on 4 days off.He weighs 35 pounds. Appreciate your response. Kay
