Guest guest
That dose is pretty high. Max dose is usually 1/2mg per pound of body weight. Most start at between 1/8 and 1/4mg per pound. If you have 25mg capsules, I wouldn't go with more than 1/2 a cap to start. Yes, every 4 hours day and night, even when sleeping. Don't forget the supporting supplements. We decided to start with just DMSA for the first few times to see if my son tolerates it well and then move to a combination of ALA and DMSA I read frequently asked questions and to my understanding my son get 1mg of DMSA per pound every 4 hrs.So 35mg every 4 hrs to begin with. right. Guest guest
Laila, Starting doses are usually 1/8-1/4mg / pound.. so you are looking at starting between 4.325 and 8.75 mg every 4 hours. Hope that helps Teraza From: lailamalik2n1 Sent: Monday, August 30, 2010 5:23 PM Subject: [ ] reconfirming chelation Finally i feel like i have all i need to start chelation this weekend. My dan also gave me a call and said i can pick up DMSA ..........as i wont be able to get it in Canada. Guest guest
There is a list in the files section. The most important are antioxidants, like vitamin C and E. - A good multi-vitamin - Zinc. 1mg per pound of body weight + 20mg, round up. - Magnesium. ~ 100mg 4x a day (make sure to account for the amount in the multi. We start with a good multi powder and add to it, then give it throughout the day. - Yeast protocol like GSE and biotin - Probiotics, usually before bedtime. Guest guest
You don't need a Dr. to get DMSA in Canada http://www.spectrumsupplements.ca/content.asp?node=339 He just wants to charge you more than if you did it yourself. There are lots of easy tips to open the capsules to get the amount you need to start as per your childs weight and tolerance. Search the files or ask. Welcome. Im Vancouver and have been at the A/C( Cutler) protocol for a few years with amazing success. I used a DAN for three appointments and never went back. Doesn't mean you have to but just letting you know that you can do it without them. Don't be scared just excited. Welcome to the healing. Guest guest
God seems to be blessing us, my children are getting better. I can only hope everyone has the success we are having. The Andy Cutler method of chelation is not a magic bullet, easy, or quick, but the gains seem to be permanent with no regression. Slow and steady wins the race.
