, I never took Arava or Enbrel but I had the same tingling and numbness

in my left

foot along with excruciating pain. I couldn't put weight on that foot in

the mornings when

I first got out of bed. The last few months I've noticed I can't move my

toes very well

plus it's difficult to seperate my toes to wash between them. It's as

though they are in

a fixed position. My Dr gave me a Prednisone shot in the left side of my

back because

of back pain also. The shot didn't help my back in the least but it

certainly helped my foot.

I still have the numbness and tingling but not the pain. I believe most of

my problem is

because of RA.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Subject: Lets change the subject

Ok gang, I have questions.

I've been on Arava and Enbrel, and I've developed tingling and numbness

in my feet. They said it could be the Arava or the Enbrel or both. Has

anyone had this happen? My doc had me go off the Arava and Enbrel and I'm

just on Voltaren now, and I've been feeling worse every day. I've also not

noticed any improvement in my feet. Has anyone here experienced this? I am

thinking that I'll put up with the foot issues to get my arthritis back to

doing better....

Any thoughts appreciated.

Maybe the foot issues are the arthritis issues. It was sore feet that got me the diagnosis in the first place. It is pretty common to have feet that kill you with out of control RA, in my opinion

I agree. My feet were where the RA first started. At first they hurt like I

had

been on them for days straight, then with the swelling I did expereince tingling

and numbness.

I have had foot pain for some time with my ra, that resolved when I started Enbrel. The numbness and tingling started later and was independent of the arthritis pain, at least to me! Hope this makes sense. Anyway, my rheumy thinks its the Enbrel or Arava or both, after everything else was ruled out.

I have to agree to. My feet is what got me a diagnosis, one that I

was not really expecting because I associated RA with hands and

knees, never thought about feet for some reason.

They hurt so bad like I had been walking on them for days and then

they started swelling around the joints and when really swollen I do

get numbness and a bit of tingling, I think from the swelling.

I experienced tingling in my feet as a primary symptom and have had some feet issues ever since (16yrs). However, I have recently experienced numbness but have yet to see a podiatrist -- several metatarsals on each foot are dropped. I have noticed more foot problems when I go off medication. I have been sick for a few weeks and had to go off enbrel until I get better and I am noticing significantly worse foot pain.i_live_in_slippers <bart.tracy@...> wrote: I have to agree to.
