Guest guest
My name is Lynne Mason and I help find families for orphans with autism at a non-profit adoption agency (www.wacap.org) I apologize in advance if this is too off topic for this group. Could you recommend how to find interested families for a 5 year old girl with autism that needs to be adopted from Asia? There is $9450 in adoption Grants/fee waivers. More about her: This child lives in an international foster care in Asia with a stay at home mother and lives in nice, clean, modern facilities. She receives one-on-one attention as the only child or one of two children in the home. We were very impressed by the care these children were receiving as compared to those in other institutions we have visited. care is temporary in this country. Her nannies say that she plays often alone and still needs help with her self care. They are worried she is autistic. She is a quiet little girl who is said to be deaf but hasnt been tested and lives in a foster home near the institute. So far, no one has taught her any sign language! She is a special little girl who will need a very special family. There is a $9450 in waivers and grant for families within income guidelines for this adoption. There is no fee to ask for the complete file. There is no fee to request a password so you can also view her photos on our secure Web site<http://www.wacap.org/WaitingChildren/tabid/73/Default.aspx>. Eligibility exceptions: If you do not meet some of the eligibility requirements to adopt from China, please contact FamilyFinders@...<mailto:FamilyFinders@...>, as exceptions to the requirements are granted on a case-by-case basis for this group of children. Additionally, if you are interested in adopting two children at one time, please inquire as each situation is approved on a case-by-case basis. WACAP (www.wacap.org<http://www.wacap.org>) is a non-profit adoption and humanitarian aid agency. Contact FamilyFinders@...<mailto:FamilyFinders@...> or call 1-800-732-1887 for more information. Thank-you, Lynne Mason Lynnem@...
