Guest guest
This is the first year we have so much stuff. Medical receipts, hotel and airfare for a medical trip, I started selling Avon, advertising, ...tons of receipts and credit card statements. I have it all in perfect order in a binder. (it's a lot, though!) My question is what do we take with us to H & R Block when we're doing taxes? Do I need to take all this junk or can we just take the document with all the totals and numbers on it? I thought we only need to produce the paperwork for these deductions if we get audited. I didn't keep receipts for diapers, my thought is if I take the paperwork diagnosing my 13 year old as autistic and qualifying for mental retardation services with the state, maybe I can state 4 diapers a day at 25 cents a diaper....(which is really lowballing it!) Am I completely off here? Any opinions? thank you ....anna
