Guest guest
Good afternoon, we just completed our 1st round of ALA chelation (4 year old 40 lbs at 12.5 mg Friday - Monday morning). Monday and Tuesday seemed to be ok but today got reports from daycare that he is pushing, hitting, crying, melting down - the worst they've seen... He is also on 75 mg of Enhansa twice per day... Which I know can do a number on a system as well. He did ok on it initially for a month, we increased the dose and had to go back after 2 weeks since he couldn't tollerate. Long story short - would you attribute his worsening to yeast? He is on Nystatin for awhile... so I think it has lost its power. He is taking biotin but I think he'll need GSE and charcoal... Another interesting change - he always fell asleep on his own. Since the day we started ALA - he does not let us leave the room until he is asleep. If we try he gets very anxious, almost to the point of a panic attack. Strange? Or have you seen anything like this with your kids as it relates to chelation? Sorry for what probably are basic questions but even after all the readings (for almost a year), somehow doing the first round brought up all the questions.
