Guest guest
We currently chelate every weekend using 15mg DMSA/15mg ALA every 3 hours. We did 17 rounds of DMSA only and now are on round 10 of DMSA/ALA. I was absolutely shocked when we got back our latest first morning urine metals test from GPL. Our latest results for (20mgDMSA/20mgALA) first morning: Mercury 0 vs <5 Lead 6.2 vs <5 Aluminum 79 vs < 60 Previous tests: DMSA 20mg only 10/19/09 first morning: Mercury 1.9 Lead 3.4 Aluminum 47 DMSA 20mg only 8/10/2009 first morning: Mercury 2.2 Lead 8.3 Aluminum 14 Other tests prior to AC chelation protocol for a frame of reference: Approx 40th CaEDTA IV 1/27/2009 (12 hour): Mercury 3.3 Lead 7.4 Aluminum 20 DMSA 200mg Challenge by DAN doc 11/15/2007 (8 hour): Mercury 2.3 Lead 11 Aluminum 6.8 What do you make of this latest urine test with no mercury in it, along with lead and aluminum back up again? I was shocked to find no mercury this time.
Guest guest
ALA primarily increases fecal excretion of mercury. The urine tests are not very helpful partly because of the large amount of error. They must be costly. J > > We currently chelate every weekend using 15mg DMSA/15mg ALA every 3 hours.
