Guest guest
This test does not meet any counting rule, but is also not normal in how it counts (see page 26 of my book Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities for fine distinctions in how to count things). At age 9 many children who got too much mercury in their vaccines may not show signs of it in their hair. Most elements are not significant if " elevated " in DDI terminology which means yellow range. Thus the Al and Sb are not significant. The silver, Ag, may be. A description of what silver does to people can be found on page 103 of the hair test book. Under the circumstances I'd suggest answering the question by chelating her and seeing if she responds. You don't necessarily have to decide if she has mercury, silver or both. If chelation makes her better, then she is better. If not then try other things (which I'll be happy to suggest). The copper may or may not be significant. If it is significant, then giving her zinc 25-50 mg with each meal and perhaps molybdenum 1,000 mcg once or twice a day would lead to noticeable relief in 1-2 months. I would try both the anti-copper approach and chelation, but try the copper intervention first, it's easier to do. If it works, zinc twice a day from then on and add chelation if she has any residual issues at all. Of course, do NOT chelate if she has amalgam fillings in place until those have been replaced with non-mercury fillings.
