Guest guest
Hi, My son seems to have an infection in his right ear. Yesterday afternoon I took him to a pediatrician after seeing some yellowish liquid coming out of his ear. The ped said it's probably just ear wax that got out due to bath water. She said ear infection should show creamy, whitish liquid. Now this morning I saw something like old blood clot inside his ear. Could ear infection bleed? (My son said his right ear aches.) I'll try not to use any antibiotics even if it's an ear infection. I checked Dr. Shaw's book; he said that the following could be effective to treat ear infections: 1) ear drops containing benzocaine and a decongestant to stop the pain (this one must be just a pain reliever) - What exact products can we use? 2) echinacea I found the following products online http://www.oregonswildharvest.com/owh/browse/children's_herbs but I guess I have to obtain one such product local. Would whole food stores the only places to sell such products? (We only have one such store in town.) Please help give your opinion. waiting... Thanks very much, Jingwen
