Guest guest
I have a question related to ALA. My health care practitioner has recommended a 7 day program called Core Restore. Although I am in no way completely knowledgable about all supplements, I still like to read ingredients to see what I will be putting into my body. I noticed that one of the supps contained 50mg of ALA. While I have had most of my amalgams removed, I still have one and it is not in good shape. When I called the NP expressing my concern about consuming ALA while still having an amalgam, she said things like: " is it leaking? " and " it's only for 2 days " . I have noticed that ALA is in a lot of supps these days-isn't that dangerous considering it's chelating properties and given the fact that it crosses the blood brain barrier? Is it ok for me to go ahead with this supplement??
Guest guest
I have oine more question. If you start on a Friday morning and go Friday night Sat night then do you just go all the next day on Sun and stop when it is time for them to go to bed that Sunday? Thanks, Kathy ________________________________ From: TJ Werth <tj_werth@...> Sent: Thu, November 11, 2010 12:59:52 PM Subject: Re: [ ] ALA Â Kirkman sells a 25mg capsule. If you have a tablet, you need to grind it up and split it into 5 piles to get 10mg out of a 50mg tab. Mix it with juice or cold food. I am going to give him 10mg every three hours. The smallest I can find is 50mg tablet. Do they make 10mg and I just have not found it? If I do go with the 50 how does everyone cut their tablets so that way they know they are giving the right amount. They never seem to cut the same way twice? Thanks
