Hi friends,

I just love the show " Bones. " If there are others that watch the show.. does

anyone think the character Dr Bones is modeled after someone with Aspergers?  I

have an aspergers teen (14), and I wonder about him as an adult.

Just wondering if anyone else maybe felt that way!

Hi ,

We own the DVD collection of " Bones. " My wife had commented a while ago that

she thought Dr. Bones' character has Aspergers. I'm not sure if the creators

had meant for her character to be modeled after someone with Aspergers, but she

certainly does have Aspie traits.

Isn't he a scientist? Forensics? It is just a stereotypical portrayal of a

science nerd, I would guess (never seen the show). A good looking guy with lots

of brains and little social skills working with a pretty lady who probably has

the hots for him but he is too involved in his work to pay attention... so the

sexual tension starts. That is what shows are made of (Remember

" Moonlighting " ?).
