Guest guest
Hi, My son is 10 and we've done about 15 rounds of DMSA on AC Protocol. While he's improving slowly in all areas, we find that he's stuck on his reading and math skills. Though he's very good phonetically, he isn't able to read words correctly. He mostly looks at the first one or 2 letters of a word and guesses...for eg. he'll read the word 'pan' as 'pat' or 'par' but rarely correctly. If asked to spell the same word, he usually gets it right (just the small words..). Similarly, with math..he rarely counts correctly. Am not sure if this is a learning problem or an attention issue. He does stress very easily especially when asked to perform on command, but I'm wondering if it's just that, having been stuck on this for years now.. Looking forward to your thoughts on this, Thanks in advance, Anu
