Adding ALA

Hello All

My son is 6yrs old and 38 pounds.We started chelation with 6.25 mg dmsa for 4

rounds and went to 8.3 mg in the 5th.He showed some beautiful gains throughout

the rounds.His teacher from school called to ask if i put him on medicines for

ADHD cause his attention and independence in school came a long way this last

week.

1.I want to add ALA and wondering when a good time will be

2.How much ALA should be added

3.Can i mix dmsa and ala in the same juice and keep remaining in the fridge

4.Can i start with minimum dose for both.say 6.25mg of dmsa and ala or should i

work my way up to 12.5mg dmsa and add 6.25mg of ala making the raio of 2:1.

Also my son is a little emotional and weepy after the rounds for a day or so,can

i do anything to minimize the redistribution symptoms.Can i finish round at

night...........friday noon to sunday midnight and so he can sleep off the

redistribution symtoms.Anyother suggestions

So good to hear your son's progress.

You can add ALA in your upcoming rounds. I would keep DMSA where you are and

add less ALA than DMSA, maybe just 4-5mg ALA but see what others say. You can

mix them into the same juice (for DMSA this should be acidic - e.g. pineapple,

lemonade or orange juice) and keep not more than 1 day in the fridge.

How I wish we could finish the round earlier, but anything less than 65 hours is

not recommended, and 72 hour rounds are preferred.

Are you using Adrenal Cortex and plenty of magnesium?
