As someone who carries this gene mutation and has ason on the spectrum i know

about this and the homocysteine issues, could this be the genetic connection?

they talk about the mutationin the sence it causesblood clotting but they treat

it with B12 and B2 and folic acid.

members that each do different things: a) cyanocobalamin; B) hydroxycobalamin;

c) adenosylcobalamin; d) glutathionylcobalamin; e) methylcobalamin. Out of the

B12 family, only Methyl-B12 has the ability to activate the

methionine/homocysteine biochemical pathway directly. It is this pathway that is

You need to order through a compounding pharmacy. I am using B-12

methylcobalamin powder Kirkman but next week we are start with the shots.

Good morning,

We did the Yasko testing Nutrigenomic. This test tested the genes related to

the methylation cycle.

We have good information now for my son to address his ammonia, BH$ deficiency,

glutathione levels, and methylation.

http://www.knowyourgenetics.com/The%20Methylation%20Pathway.html

Just another perspective. I am still keeping with all my other treatments and

with this information tailor the supplements to get my son's methylation

pathways working to increase glutathione and decrease ammonia.

Hope this helps.
