Not contagious from the vaccine itself.

When I was in the military, one of my soldiers got a smallpox vaccine and the

same thing happened to him. I think it is cellulitis. They had to cut his arm

open and drain the pus out of it, it was awful. If the arm is red and HOT, then

I'd say yes, it is infectious and stay away.
