Elimination diet, what do I do?

Hello! I am getting to the point where I need to just cut out everything that I

think might be problematic to see what to do for myself. I'm already doing the

no sulfur / no thiols diet, but within that, I got a screaming migraine (worse

than I have ever had... I had them in my 20's but not since). And what I ate

different was a large amount of ground turkey. That's the only difference.

Sooooo, because I've had so many probs with meat in the past several months,

I've hardly touched the stuff until a week and a half ago and when I did add it

back in, I only added dark meat chicken (results were okay). Then yesterday the

large amount of ground turkey. Today, I had the turkey again and voila! Migraine

from Hell.

The only things I KNOW I can eat for sure without causing problems are on the

low sulfur / thiols list EXCEPT for meats.

What to do? I have to have meat for the amino acids... or do a combo thing like

vegetarians do, but if that's so, because I've had such problems with

hypoglycemia, how will I get enough amino acids in my body?

Someone mentioned using L Glutamine before... how much? Why? Is that something

that HAS to be in my body if not eating meat? I have some here, but scared to

try it... will it mess with the sulfur probs?

Is this an amines problem? I can't find sufficient info on the web about

amines... like what to cut out ??

Thanks for any help. I need it soon so I know what to put in my body.....

getting to the point I am nervous about putting anything in my mouth, especially

if it's meat :( But I need the protein.

Tamara
