When he was around 2+ when first diagnosed with autism , he used to twist & flapped his fingers, did a fair bit of mouthing objects or his own hands and made funny yet seem uncontrollable facial expression. It has been at least for the last 4 yrs plus that he no longer did the above. About 2 months ago, all the above came back. There is nothing significant change for him during this period.
