I really like your demanding tone. I hope you have some experience in dealing

with the curing process of autistic childred in the real world so that we can

have a even more constructive discuusion.

We only use a vitamin supplement recomended by an experienced DAN doctor.

It looks like you want to go down yeast infection issue. I assume the extended

DMSA chelation combined with larger dosage treatments could make it worse as

someone suggested. Clearly, it's not the case for my son. Here're my analyses:

Based on two successful disengagements from DMSA after chelation:

A certain concentration of DMSA (100mg twice a day, this level is adequate for

my son)in the blood stream needs to be maintained for an extended period (e.g.,

6 days for my son) to flush out disturbed mercury while allowing the newly

exposed nerve to heal.

My layman's analysis of the half life of DMSA is still good (e.g., 100mg reduced

to 50mg after 3-4 hours). The definition of the half life has been misused or

abused.

According to the scientific data published in J. Toxicol. Clin. Toxicol. 30,

505-528 (1992), DMSA concentration in the blood reaches its peak at 3.0 hours

and its t 1/2 is 3.2. These results are obtained under high dosage conditions

of DMSA. If you have some scientific training, you understand the results are

only valid under these test conditions. You can't draw or extrapolate it to the

low concentration applications of DMSA blindly.

Furthermore, don't get confused with the effective time of DMSA with the half

time. Large dosage of DMSA will maintain its concentration in the blood above

the certain level that leads to a longer effective time.
