Last wednesday I had 3 of my amalgams (all from different quadrants)removed by a

dentist that only used high pressure suction and lots of water. There was a

period of like 10 minutes when he had drilled in to the 3rd tooth already and I

felt pain, so he paused and left that tooth " open " while he waited for more

lidocaine to soak in. An hour after getting home I started to feel horrible.

Sore throat, chest tightness, insane head pain, lightheaded. I started to read

online about supplements I could take after all of this dental work and realized

what a horrible mistake I had made. I have been reading ever since and trying

to figure out the best way to try to address the damage I have done.

I saw my naturopath on Friday and he wanted me to start on dmsa on tuesday after

doing a challenge/urine test on monday. I now see from reading the archives

that a challenge of any sort is not a good idea. I have started with

supplementation recommended here... C, E, fish oil, zinc, magnesium (but am

wondering what kind of dosages are recommended?) and plan to call a biological

dentist tomorrow to see about removing my root canaled tooth. I see that

starting ALA is not an option until after 3 months post removal but I am

wondering if it is safe to start dmsa with all of the acute symptoms I am

having. I am not sure if there is any remaining mercury in my root canaled

tooth? All other amalgams are out. My head is in so much pain I just don't

want to risk making things worse so I thought I would ask for advice? If I have

to wait to get the root canaled tooth out to start the small doses of dmsa is

there anything gentle I can do in the meantime? I have already removed all

grains, sugar, caffeine, dairy from my diet.

If you have read all of this thank you, thank you, thank you. Any and all

advice is so appreciated.
