Guest guest
We have been aware of lead in our son's system for quite some time and have periodically engaged in DMSA chelation, which has been effective at removing the lead. However, we have noticed a red spot appear on his thigh (about the size of a quarter) during chelation cycles. It only turns red during chelation. At times between chelation it goes way down in size and become brown looking, like a bruise that never quite goes away. The spot is quite uniform with fairly soft borders, not splotchy like other rashes we've read about in relation to chelation. Our doctor has no idea what this is. Has anyone else ever seen such a thing? We can't find any similar cases online. Confused
