Never had any trouble with the replacement fillings as that is all this dentist

does and has been doing for over 10 years. He is excellent. If done right the

white ones will outlast any metal ones. He also tested me to be sure the

materials used were compatible for me.

Hi all

I am new to the list so forgive me if you have been over this territory. I

have suffered from fibromyalgia for most of my life, and have brought it

down, in my case, to a chemical cocktail of at least fluoride, mercury,

adrenalin and a staph bacteria which eats protein and leaves a very toxic

waste.

All of these I am getting under control and have managed to alleviate my

symptoms a great deal. I have been having my amalgam fillings removed, very

slowly because I was warned about the possibility of a toxic reaction to the

removal.

In going through the archives a see a few things mentioned to help detox

from mercury, but I haven't the foggiest idea what they are (they may be

brand names that are different in Australia). Does anyone know of a list of

foods/drinks that are known to help remove mercury - and what on earth is

cilantro juice?

Regards,

When talking about teeth, even crowns that have metal as part of the

crown. Many have Nickel as part of the crown, its toxic as mercury too.

many of the diseases from metals (amalgams) can be produced from aspartame

this includes fibromyalgia, infertility, hypothyroidism (Graves disease too),

etc

just something else to keep in mind

Yes,I would recommend:

Dr. Glaros DDS

17222 Red Oak Dr.

Houston 77090

Go to his website and read about the removal. I am getting mine done

soon.We have had several relatives who have used him happily.

Trying to lower body burden of heavy metal in preperation for a

possible future pregnancy. This is one of many things. Also

improving my immune function with diet.......

Why do you ask?

Any attempt to get better does carry some risks. For example, I've heard

from more than one person that their ES began after having their amalgams

removed! That said, I think the potential benefits outweigh the potential

risks, although one might want to try to improve liver function,

adrenal function, etc. prior to doing this.

I would suggest that you find a dentist who attempts to minimize mercury

exposure during the removals -- rubber dam, alternate air source for

breathing, water-cooled drill, etc. I think it's also best to go slow --

remove only a couple (max) at each appointment, and have an adequate

interval between appointment to " recover " from the previous appointment

(as no matter how many precautions you take, there will be some

mercury exposure). Also a good idea would be to take an effective

antioxidant after the appointment, or some charcoal. And before

the appointment, you should verify that the antioxidant actually

helps, and figure out what level of tolerance you have for taking

any supplement (max dosage without bad side effects).

Heck, I even changed clothes and took a shower after my appointments,

but I suspect that is overkill... :-)
